Leila, a Muslim Quebecer, is stuck between a conservative upbringing and her desire to lead a romantic and sexual life, to live as freely as Sofia, her cousin who has just immigrated to Montréal. One summer evening, their sisterhood is put to the test, when Leila flees an arranged marriage with Sofia’s help.
